70 Years of the Motorway in Photographs
On 2nd May 1939, construction of a motorway from Prague to the Slovak border - through Brno - was started. The Road and Motorway Directorate has published the "70 Years of the Motorway in Photographs" book on the occasion. It reviews the complicated history of the beginning of motorway construction in the Czech Republic till the newest sections of the present day.
