
The Road and Motorway Directorate opens an information centre for the R49 and R55 high-speed roads
The Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic (RSD) has opened another in a series of information centres aimed at providing more comprehensive information about transport infrastructure projects in the Czech Republic. The latest information centre is located in the municipality of Záhlinice, near Hulín, in the Zlín Region. Visitors will primarily be provided with information pertaining to the construction of the R49 and R55 high-speed roads.
The new information centre in Záhlinice is furnished with comprehensive materials and technical equipment. People can enquire about the progress of the sections' construction, ask questions and look through the entire project documentation of the constructions. The information centre is also prepared for more extensive questions that need not only pertain to the construction of the R49 and R55 high-speed roads. The area in question is also close to other transport infrastructure projects in Moravia, for example, the construction of the D1 motorway.
"We are fully aware of how important it is for the people living in the vicinity of our constructions to be well informed," says Pavel Doležal, Chief Executive Officer of the Brno Division,RSD.
